Steel reducer is one of the chemical pipe fittings, used for two
different diameter of the connection. Is divided into concentric
reducer and eccentric reducer. Product material can be according to
the 321, 304, 304 L, 310S , 316, 316L organize production, can also
according to user specified criteria, material production, the
production range from DN10-DN1200 (1/2 "to 48"), complete
specifications.
A. Reducing/expanding forming
The process of reducing the diameter of the large and small ends is
to place a tube blank with the same diameter as the large and small
ends into a forming die, and press the tube blank in the axial
direction to make the metal move along the mold cavity and shrink
into shape. According to the size of the reducer, it can be divided
into one press forming or multiple press forming.
B. Stamping
In addition to using steel pipes as raw materials to produce large
and small ends, some specifications of large and small ends can
also be produced using a stamping forming process using steel
plates. The shape of the stamping die used for stretching is
designed with reference to the inner surface dimensions of the
reducer, and the blanking steel plate is stamped and stretched with
the stamping die to form.
