Anti-HCV Rapid Test Kit

Instruction for Use

A lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of antibodies to Hepatitis C Virus (Anti-HCV) in human serum or plasma.

REAGENTS AND MATERIALS PROVIDED

25 X Test devices. Test cassettes are individually sealed in a foil pouch with a dropper and a package of desiccant.

1 X Assay Buffer

1 X Instruction for use

Clock or Timer

Clean containers for the collection of specimen.

ASSAY PROCEDURE

Test device, patient’s samples, and controls should be brought to room temperature (15-30℃) prior to testing. Do not open pouches until ready to perform the assay.

• Remove the test device from its protective pouch, lay it on a dry and clean flat surface, and label the device with patient or control number.
• Hold the dropper vertically and transfer 2 drops (about 50ml) of serum or plasma to the specimen well (S) and then add 1 drop buffer to the specimen well (S) of the test device, and start the timer.
• Wait for the red line(s) to appear. Read result in 15 minutes. Do not interpret result after 20 minutes.
