Design features
Whatsminer M20S 62Th consists of the following elements: two
coolers (12 volts), built-in power supply (up to 20 amperes),
control board, three hash boards. The ASIC is made of an easily
alloyed aluminum body, which is weakly susceptible to heat and
corrosion.
Two fans are located in parallel on the sides of the rectangular
structure, the power supply is located on top. Coolers effectively
remove heat outside, they work quite quietly. Additional panels
provide efficient airflow to the cooling system. However, such a
device is not suitable for a residential building, especially when
operating at maximum performance.
The power consumption of the M20S, in comparison with its
predecessor M20V2, has become even lower, which is explained by the
slightly changed configuration of the chip.
