Precautions for the installation of GPS locator
1. The installation position of the locator should avoid emission
sources, such as reversing radar, anti-theft device and other
vehicle-mounted communication terminals, so as to avoid signal
interference and affect the positioning effect of the locator.
2. When installing the positioner, you can use a cable tie to fix
it, or use wide sponge strong double-sided tape to stick it to
avoid the positioner from falling off and making noise due to
strong vibration.
3. Whether it is a wired or wireless locator, when installing, make
sure that the locator (the side with the pattern) faces upwards,
and pay attention to prevent high temperature, waterproof, and
prevent metal partitions (no metal obstructions above the device).
The locator should be tilted horizontally. Keep it within 15°,
which can not affect the normal reception of the signal.
4. Even the locator marked with waterproof can only be splash-proof
and cannot be soaked in water; if the locator is not waterproof,
the locator must be wrapped in a plastic bag before installation.
5. It is not recommended to install near the battery under the
spare tire of the trunk, which will seriously affect the signal
strength of the positioner.
