Overhead Line Fittings
Lightning protection arcing horn is a kind of brand-new lightning
protection devices, which well combines the lightning protection
concept of blocking type and channeling type, that is, a pair of
arcing horn in parallel at both ends of the conductor insulator
strings to form the discharge gap, when the conductor is impacted
by lightning, it can quickly introduce lightning current to the
earth through the discharge gap and protect the insulator strings
from breakdown; When lightning strikes the tower, it can quickly
lead the lightning current to the discharge gap until the arc
disappears to prevent flashover damage of the insulator string.
