Description of Rotary Switch
A rotary switch is a switch operated by rotation. These are often
chosen when more than 2 locations are needed, such as a three-speed
fan or CB radio with multiple receiving frequencies or "channels".
Application of Rotary Switch
Rotary switches are used for channel selectors on signal receivers, as well as range selectors on electric meter and band
selectors on multi-band radios, band selectors for household appliances etc....
