The Cisco QSFP-40GE-LR4 compatible Optical Transceiver Module is designed for use in 40GBASE Ethernet throughput up to 10km over single-mode fiber (SMF) via an LC duplex connector.

This transceiver is fully compliant with QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-LR4 and OTU3 C4S1-2D1 standards.

This Cisco QSFP-40GE-LR4 compatible optical transceiver is factory pre-programmed with all the necessary configuration data for seamless network integration and performs identically to Cisco original transceivers, excellent interoperation with Cisco QSFP+ port optical transport devices such as Cisco Nexus 2000 Series, Nexus 3000 Series, Nexus 5000 Series, Nexus 5600 Series, Nexus 6000 Series, Nexus 7000 Series, Nexus 9000 Series, etc.
