At the beginning of the last century, a xenon lamp aging test
chamber appeared in the world. It is composed of a carbon arc lamp
as a light source. The lamp tube is placed vertically in the center
of the instrument, surrounded by a filtration system and a rotating
sample rack. The test sample is mounted facing the light source and
rotates around the center light like a conveyor belt. Since then,
xenon lamp aging tests have been constantly improved, although the
principle has not changed, but the performance and form have been
fundamentally changed, nevertheless, no matter what type of test
chamber, with control systems to control the intensity of light,
temperature and relative humidity, xenon lamp test chamber is
widely used to test the optical stability and aging resistance of
materials and products.

Xenon arc lamp is used to simulate the full sunlight spectrum to
reproduce the destructive light waves in different environments:
1. It can provide corresponding environmental simulation and
accelerated test for scientific research, product development and
quality control.
2. It can be used for selection of new materials, improvement of
existing materials or change test to evaluate durability after
changes in material composition.
3. It can well simulate the changes of materials exposed to
sunlight under different environmental conditions.
4. If the test sample is not large or not much, it is recommended
to use xenon lamp bench, can achieve the same effect.
