Description:

Flexing cable is used in wind turbine and fixed erection installation towers with rated voltage 1.8/3kVand below wind turbine system or similar system.

Operational performance:

• Rated Voltage UO/U:450/750V, 0.6/1kV, 1.8/3kV.
• Max.temperature of cable conductor during normal operating condition (cable rated working temperature): 70℃ for cable with voltage grade 450/750V, and 90℃ for cable with voltage grade 0.6/1kV and 1.8/3kV.
• Min bending radius of cable is 6 times that of cable diameter.
• Lowest environment temperature: -25℃ for common type cable, -40℃ for cold resistant type cable, and-50℃for bitter cold resistant type cable.

Technical requirement:

• Conductor

Conductor adopts class 5 soft circle annealed (tinned) copper wire according to GB/T 3956. DC resistance of conductor at 20 ℃ should confirm with GB/T 3956. Conductor surface allows moisture resistant material overlap or longitudinal wrap.

• Insulation

Insulated material should be one of extruded solid dielectrics in table. Mechanical and physical character should confirm with requirement table A.1.in appendix A.

Characteristics:

1. The maximum long-term allowable operating temperature of the conductor:90℃

2. Minimum operating temperature of the cable:-40℃(Suitable for cold regions)

3. Maximum temperature of the cable during short circuit (maximum duration not exceeding 5s):250℃

4. Minimum bending radius of the cable: not less than 6 times the outer diameter of the cable

5. Cable conductor allows tension load:15N/mm²

6. The cable has torsion resistance (partial cable), oil resistance, heat and humidity resistance (partial cable), UV resistance, ozone resistance and salt spray resistance (partial cable)
