Tungsten carbide (TC) is widely used as a sealing surface or
sealing ring with wear resistance, high fracture strength, high
thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion coefficient.
Tungsten carbide seals can be divided into rotary seals and static
seals. The two most common tungsten carbide face/seal variants are
cobalt-bonded and nickel-bonded.
Application:
Tungsten carbide sealing rings are widely used as mechanical
sealing surfaces of pumps, compressors, mixers and agitators in oil
refineries, petrochemical plants, fertilizer plants, breweries,
mining plants, pulp mills and pharmaceutical industries. The
sealing ring will be installed on the pump body and the rotating
shaft, and form a liquid or gas seal by the end faces of the
rotating and static rings.
