The three-roll mill machine is a grinding mill consisting of three horizontally positioned rolls rotating at different speeds. It is widely utilized in the production of inks, paints, coatings, and other materials requiring fine particle size reduction and uniform mixing. The material is fed between the rolls, where it undergoes high shear forces, resulting in effective grinding and dispersion.

Structure & Working principle:

-----------It has three rollers ( roller is made of high wear alloy cast iron) mounted on an iron frame with the center on the straight line. Can be horizontally installed, or slight tilted. Through the horizontal three roller surface extrusion and different speed friction to achieve the grinding effect.

Roller is hollow can be cooled by water. Material was added between the middle and back rollers. Due to the three rollers rotating in different direction ( speed increases from back to front ), generate a good grinding effect. After grinding, material is scraped by scraper in front of the front roller.
