About T1 handle

The T1 handle is used to connect the T1 and external parameter modules and provides bed rail mounting capability. It can also be connected to the T1 docking station.

The T1 handle can be installed in the T1 dock as follows:

To remove the T1 handle:

1. Press and hold the release button on the top of the T1 handle.

2. Pull out the T1 handle as shown.

T1 Docking Station and T1 Handle

The diagram above shows the connections and relationships between the T1 docking station, T1 and the T1 handle. They can be connected to each other via a 54-pin connector. The T1 is the heart of the system, while the T1 Handle and T1 Docking Station offer many feature enhancements.

When T1 is used only with T1 handle, it can communicate with external parameter modules, and its interaction with external modules is through T1handle conversion board and NIOS T1handle board.

When the T1 is mounted on the T1 docking station, it connects to the T1 docking station interface board through the T1 docking station adapter board, which is powered by the interface board from the T1 docking station. In addition, the T1 can also be connected to external devices via USB interface, external device interface (Mini DB15), VGA interface and network interface on the docking station. All of the above features are provided when the T1 Dock, T1 and T1 Grip are used together.

Removing the Handle

1. Remove the five white covers from the screws, unscrew the five M3 × 8 screws, and then remove the handle.

2. Loosen the M2.5 × 8 screw and remove the release lever, Module A button, and spring.

Removing the Infrared Board

Unscrew the M3×8 screw, loosen the fixing clip, and remove the flexible cable from the PCBA socket.

Removing the Converter Board

• Unscrew the two PT3 × 10 screws and remove the T1 handle socket holder

• Remove two M2 × 8 screws, remove the connector waterproof cover, and remove the adapter card PCBA from the T1 handle holder.
