APZCQ Series oilfield vacuum degasser for drilling mud system

The APZCQ series oilfield vacuum degasser is 2nd phase purification equipment in whole fluids system for well drilling. The first phase is shale shaker to get rid of solids, the degasser is used to separate the small amount entrained gas in drilling mud. It plays important role on drilling mud property maintenance. Besides degasser, its another role is powerful agitator.

Drilling mud after processed by shale shaker, before it pumped into desander cone, the vacuum degasser will suck drilling mud from shaker tank to separate gas. APZCQ degasser is self-feeding degassing equipment. No need for extra feeding pump. Under the minus pressure condition, the drilling mud can be sucked into degasser vessel easily.

The vacuum degasser can help to get rid of H₂S, methane, and CO. When the mud is not degassed well, there will be danger during futher mud process. And the drilling fluids is not as stable as purified fluids, the property is worse than cleaned too.

Why we call degasser the 2nd purification equipment? It's set behind shale shaker but prior to desander or mud cleaner. The vacuum degasser holding different sizes and different treating capacity. The model unumber APZCQ 270 means the degasser can handle fluids mixed with gas upto 270m³/h. Users can select the proper degasser according to pratical demand

The material of vacuum degasser can be common carbon steel or the H₂S resistant steel. At some of drilling sites, there is no ignitor connected directly to gas vent port, but at some drilling sites, such as gas field or shale gas drilling the vacuum degasser is connected with ignition device via a line to make sure the gas can be burned safely.

Vacuum degassers are not operatred continuously. As the entrained gas quantity is not as large as the gas flow out of the choke manifold or the elevating pipe. We can turn it on when entrained gas raise.
