Description:
This product is vehicle mounted high-voltage plastic shell
connector, suitable for lithium battery packs for electrical
motorcycle, scooter, marine, boat, RV application
Car batteries typically have one of three types of terminals.
In recent years, the most common design has been the SAE post,
consisting of two frusto-conical lead posts sitting on top of the
cell, with slightly different diameters to ensure correct polarity.
The "JIS" type is similar to SAE but smaller, again positively
larger than negatively larger but both smaller than the SAE
counterpart. Most older Japanese cars have JIS terminals.
General Motors and other automakers have also started using jamb
battery terminals, which consist of two female 3/8" female threads
(SAE 3/8-16) into which the bolts or various battery terminal
adapters will attach. These jambs are the same size and do not
prevent wrong polarity connections.
L-terminals consist of an L-shaped post with a bolt hole in its
vertical side. These are used in some European cars, motorcycles,
lawn and garden equipment, snowmobiles and other light vehicles.
