ASME SB-861 is the standard specification for titanium and titanium seamless pipes which are intended for general corrosion-resisting and elevated temperature service. It is almost identical to ASTM B861 except for an editorial revision to para. 4.1.10. It covers 34 grades of titanium and titanium alloys.

The ASME SB-861 (ASTM B861) includes many necessary contents: 34 grades of Ti and Ti alloys, referenced documents, terminology, ordering information, manufacture, chemical requirements, dimensions of pipe, tensile requirements, tolerances and variations, surface finish, inspection and tests, packing and certification, etc.
