Exothermic Atmosphere
Overview
Exothermic atmosphere is a kind of protective atmosphere. Thick
exothermic atmosphere is mainly used as heat protector during
annealing and normalizing process for casting and forging parts,
brightness annealing and quenching process for mild steel and
medium carbon steel, tempering process for steel parts. Thin
exothermic atmosphere is usually used in brightness treatment
process for copper and copper alloys, annealing process for
forgeable cast iron, bluing treatment and blacking treatment.
