1. Descriptions:
Phillips Drive / Coarse Thread / Zinc Plated. Flat head machine
screws have a flat top surface with a cone shaped bearing surface
which is countersunk. This type of countersunk head leaves a flat
surface once the screw has been driven in completely. Machine
screws are most often used with a nut as a means of tightening
unless they have a pre-threaded hole with the exact thread pitch.
These screws are most commonly offered in smaller sizes. Other
types of machine screws we can supply are: phillips round head
machine screws, stainless steel flat head machine screws and
stainless steel round head machine screws. Phillips head machine
screws are the most recommended type of drive. A phillips drive
offers more control and less slippage.
Machine screws are straight shank fasteners with a blunt end and
machine threads that run the entire length of the shank. They are
designed to go through a hole or machine screw nut that is
pre-tapped to form a mating thread for the screw. Machine screws
are often described as a small diameter bolt because of their blunt
end, and some styles are called stove bolts. Machine screw heads
come in binding undercut, button, fillister, flat, indented hex,
indented hex washer, oval, pan, round, and truss. You can read more

slotted/unslotted, one way tamper proof, phillips, phillips pin
head, phillips/slotted combo, six-love, slotted, spanner tamper
proof, and triangular slotted.
