2A12 aerospace aluminum is a kind of high-strength hard aluminum,
which can be strengthened by heat treatment;
2A12 aerospace grade aluminum spot welding has good weldability,
and there is a tendency to form intercrystalline cracks when using
gas welding and argon arc welding;
2A12 aerospace grade aluminum can be cut after cold hardening.
The performance is still good. The corrosion resistance is not
high, and anodizing and painting methods are often used or aluminum
layers are added on the surface to improve the corrosion
resistance.
