The GL & aluzinc steel sheet in coil uses the cold-rolled steel
sheet as a substrate and solidified by 55% aluminum,
43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon at 600 °C. It combines the physical
protection and high durability of aluminum and the electrochemical
protection of zinc. It is also called aluzinc steel coil.
We has both GL coil and sheet for sale, which are available from
AZ30 to AZ150. The thickness is from
0.12 to 1 mm and the width is from 600 to 1,250 mm. Moreover, we

What Does AZ150 Mean?
AZ150 means that in the triple spot test in the en 10346 standard,
the minimum total coating mass on both surfaces of the
aluminum-zinc alloy coating is 150g per square meter. Equivalent to
Total Both Sides in ASTM a792 standard is 0.50 oz/square foot.
AZ150 Coating Thickness
AZ150 coating single surface coating thickness is 18 microns,
double surface coating thickness is 36 microns.
This steel’s coating alloy is made up of 55% aluminium, 43.4% zinc,
and 1.6% silica. The coating of this steel serves as general
corrosion’s passivating barrier. The other coating layer allows the
formation of galvanic element once the sheet is exposed to
electrolyte or moisture. This exposure results in the flowing over
of zinc ions and corrosion protection of exposed steel. It also
helps protect the steel’s trimmed edges and scratches.
AZ150 galvalume is suitable for buildings or other facilities in
extreme environments. It is extremely corrosion-resistant and
weather-resistant and can reach a service life of more than 10
years.

Detailed Steps Of The Galvalume Steel Sheet Processing:
Step 1:
Pre-treatment: After the cold-rolled coil arrives in the galvalume
workshop, after passing through the uncoiler, through the
degreasing section and the reduction furnace, the steel coil is
cleaned and its components are reduced to the extent that it can be
galvanized.
Step 2:
Central section: The most critical technology is this step. After
passing through the zinc pot, a layer of zinc layer is plated on
the surface of the steel plate. After coming out of the zinc pot,
it is cooled and shaped by the cooling tower.
Step 3:
Post-processing: The steel plate finally comes to the
post-processing stage after various processes. After finishing,
straightening and passivation, and finally coiling.
