Application
Granite is an excellent building stone, which is commonly used for
the foundation, pier, steps, road, also can be used for building
houses, walls, especially suitable for the construction of a
monumental building, a large building of each big city, has been
widely used as the main material of the building facade of granite.
The density of granite is between 2.63 and 2.75, and its
compressive strength is 1050~14000 kg / sqcm (15000~20, 000 lb /
sq). Because its density higher than of sandstone, granite and
marble limestone, so it is difficult to mining. Owing to the
special conditions and strong structural characteristics of
granite, it has the following unique properties:
