Magnesium lignosulfonate:
Cement is used in the cementing operation of oil Wells. The
cementing quality is related to many factors, such as the loss of
water in the cement slurry, the flow pattern of the cement slurry
and the setting time of the cement slurry, so various cement
admixtures are required. Cement admixtures include promoting early
strength agent, retarding agent, water loss agent, anti-gas
channeling agent, dispersant, expansion agent, cement stone
strength main anti-decay additives, free water control and solid
suspension regulator, clay control agent, etc.
Lignin oil well cement admixtures are mainly used as retarding
agent and dispersant agent. Now the most commonly used oil well
cement retarder is lignosulfonate, lignosulfonate class of medium
and low temperature retarder, mostly used in shallow Wells.
Lignosulfonate supplemented with sodium humate or tartaric acid can
also be used as high temperature retarder, is characterized by less

compatibility.
