1 . Descriptions:
Vibratory bowl feeders are widely used in industrial production
environments and are considered the most versatile and commonly
used parts-feeding systems for assembly line production. These
self-contained mechanical devices have a long history and have been
in use since the mid-20th century, known for their resilience and
efficiency.
The main principle of vibratory bowl feeders is the use of
vibration to align and feed small parts in production lines. This
vibration is generated by electromagnets. The device converts
electromagnetically produced vibrations into mechanical vibrations,
which are then harnessed and transferred to the conveying track of
the bowl feeder. The conveying track moves the components along,
guiding them into the production line.
Beneath the spring-mounted bowl, a magnetic coil is positioned.
This coil is magnetized by an external power source, creating an
electromagnetic actuation that generates vibrations. The mounting
on the springs limits the vertical movement of the bowl's
actuation. Typically, 1 to 6 electromagnets are placed under the
feeder base. Once the electromagnetic vibrations are converted into
mechanical vibrations, the components and parts in the bowl feeder
are propelled onto the conveying tracks of the bowl, ready for
production.
