1 . Descriptions:

Vibratory bowl feeders are widely used in industrial production environments and are considered the most versatile and commonly used parts-feeding systems for assembly line production. These self-contained mechanical devices have a long history and have been in use since the mid-20th century, known for their resilience and efficiency.

As the name suggests, vibratory bowl feeders utilize vibration to align and feed small parts in production lines. The vibrations are generated using electromagnets. The device converts electromagnetically produced vibrations into mechanical vibrations, which are then harnessed and transferred to the conveying track of the bowl feeder. The conveying track moves the components along, guiding them into the production line.

A magnetic coil is positioned beneath the spring-mounted bowl. This coil is magnetized by an external power source, creating an electromagnetic actuation that generates vibrations. The bowl's actuation is constrained to limit vertical movement due to its mounting on the springs. Generally, 1 to 6 electromagnets are placed under the feeder base. Once the electromagnetic vibrations are converted into mechanical vibrations, the components and parts in the bowl feeder are propelled onto the bowl's conveying tracks, ready for production.
