The Li Auto L9 is a luxury full-size crossover SUV by Li Xiang, and
it is also the second vehicle from the Chinese automobile
manufacturer. As of 2022 it has the longest electric range of any
PHEV in the world (215 km in the NEDC cycle), just above the BMW i3
120 Ah REx (203 km in the EPA cycle).
The vehicle can be described as a range extended vehicle or as a
PHEV. It has two electric motors: a 130-kilowatt (174 hp; 177 PS)
motor in the front and a 200-kilowatt (268 hp; 272 PS) motor in the
rear. It is also equipped with a front-mounted 1.5-litre
turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine with a 65-litre (17.2 US gal;
14.3 imp gal) petrol tank capacity. The newer facelifted model has
a gas tank of 55 litres (14.5 US gal; 12.1 imp gal). The petrol
engine is a range extender for the electric motors; it does not
directly power the wheels.
Total power output is 240 kW (322 hp; 326 PS) and 530 N⋅m (54 kg⋅m;
391 lb⋅ft). The company claims a NEDC range of 1,315 kilometres
(817 mi), and an electric-only NEDC range of 215 kilometres (134
mi). The L9 accelerates 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 5.3 seconds.
Charging to 80% takes 40 minutes with a fast charger. A full charge
at 200V takes 6 hours. Battery capacity is 40.6 kWh (146 MJ), out
of which 37.2 kWh (134 MJ) is usable.
It is an SUV, available with six or seven seats in three rows. The
interior has a pair of two 4-millimetre (0.16 in) thick 15.7-inch
wide screens, and the infotainment system runs on Android Auto.
The appearance of S60-EXPLORE Brake Kit adopts a new spray paint
process, and the appearance of the caliper is brighter and longer
lasting color. With the large-sized brake pads, it can provide
strong braking force. The unequal diameter pistons keep the
calipers in good braking linearity.
The P-series street version of the brake kit is suitable for daily
street use. It uses an EPB system. Without changing any components,
it can retain the electronic parking function and enhance the
powerful power.
Note: Due to the problems of structure and system matching some
models need to use transfer wires to connect original motor.
As a global smart flagship SUV built for families, the Li Auto L9 has flagship-level space and comfort. The body dimensions are: 5218
mm long, 1998 mm wide, 1800 mm high, and 3105 mm wheelbase. Through
careful design of the vehicle structure and interior space, the
interior space of the Li Auto L9 surpasses that of mainstream SUVs of the same class, and even
surpasses some full-size MPVs in the combined space of the second
row, third row and trunk, truly making it more affordable. Everyone

Li Auto L9 uses a four-way electric adjustment steering wheel to provide
drivers with a convenient and comfortable getting in and out
experience. In terms of seat comfort, all seats in the Li Auto L9 car are electrically adjustable and equipped with standard seat
heating function, and use 3D comfort sponge and Nappa leather. The
first and second row seats are also equipped with side heating
functions, seat ventilation and SPA-level ten-point massage
functions.
