Removal and Insertion:

This unit cannot be removed or inserted with system power energized. Non-sparking field circuits MUST be de-energized before removing and inserting a CHARM.

For non-sparking circuits, the fuse on a CHARM terminal block cannot be removed when field power is energized.

A keying system ensures compatibility between an Address Plug and CHARM Address Terminal when installed. The Address Terminal keys are automatically set the first time the Address Plug is installed.

To install a different Address Plug number on an Address Terminal, reset the keys by removing the Address Terminal from the CHARM Baseplate
and pressing the keys to release them from the locked position.

Maintenance and Adjustment:

This unit contains no user serviceable parts and should not be disassembled for any reason.
Calibration is not required.
