Grade 1 Titanium Foil is an exceptionally thin and lightweight

The Gr1 Titanium Foil is particularly valued for its ability to be

strength, protection, and resistance against corrosive substances
and environmental wear. It is used both in the creation of final
products and as part of the finishing processes. Manufacturers
often opt for titanium in its stock form, typically found in rolled
coils, due to its regulated nature which ensures predictable

titanium foil include continuous casting, rolling, and pressing of
cast ingots.
A notable characteristic of Gr1 titanium foil is its superior
anti-damping performance. When subjected to mechanical or
electrical vibrations, it exhibits the longest vibration decay time
compared to other metals like steel and copper. Capitalizing on
this property, Grade 1 titanium foil is employed in high-precision
applications such as tuning forks, as the vibration element in
medical ultrasonic mills, and as the vibration film in advanced
audio speakers, where its unique damping abilities contribute to
enhanced performance.

The manufacturing method for Grade 1 ASTM F67 titanium foil
primarily involves cold rolling, which is the most widely used
process due to its high productivity and capability for large-scale
output. This process is executed using either a six-high or
twenty-high cold rolling mill.
Heat treatment of the titanium foil is crucial and can be carried
out in two main ways: vacuum annealing or continuous online
protection annealing. In vacuum annealing, the rolled or sheet
titanium foil is placed inside a vacuum furnace for heat treatment.
On the other hand, continuous online protection annealing is an
advanced technique adopted by our company in recent years, offering
higher production efficiency and significant enhancements in
product quality. This method ensures consistent quality and
mechanical properties of the titanium foil.
Titanium is renowned for its excellent corrosion resistance,
remaining unaffected by atmospheric conditions and seawater. At
normal temperatures, it withstands corrosion from hydrochloric acid
concentrations below 7%, sulfuric acid concentrations below 5%, as
well as nitric acid, aqua regia, or diluted alkali solutions.
However, it should be noted that only hydrofluoric acid,
concentrated hydrochloric acid, and concentrated sulfuric acid have
the potential to react with titanium.
