Magnesium Neodymium MgNd Master Alloy is an alloy composed of
alkaline earth metals and rare earth metals. It is used to improve
the corrosion resistance and fatigue resistance of magnesium
alloys. High Broad provides high-quality Magnesium Neodymium
(Mg-Nd) Master Alloy in the shape of Waffle Ingot, and small block
at a competitive price.
1.Product information

1.Conform to Industrial Standards:HB7264-96
2.The Mg ingot used for the alloy nedd to meet at and above Grade Ⅱ
of GB3499 standard.
3.The pureness of rare earth ingot used for the alloy is no less
than 99%
4.The surface of the alloy ingot is grey,the fracture is silver
gray,both should clear,with no slag inclusion.
5.Generally the weight is less the 5kg/ingot,could as customer's
request as well
6.Packing:The ingots was put in metal pail after wax-sealed,the
N.W. is 50kg/pail.The alloy grades batch No.,N.W. & date of
manufacture are marked on the surface of the pail.
7.The alloy ingot should be stock in dry place,no near to
inflammable and explosive materials,strict precautions against rain
& wet to avoid to be corroded.
Magnesium base master alloy has a uniform and stable composition,
which can meet the requirements of magnesium alloy composition,
microstructure regulation, and performance improvement. Our master
alloys are produced in adherence to strict quality control
practices utilizing an induction melting and alloying process
followed by static mold or direct chill (DC) continuous casting.
Static cast finished products are available in a variety of forms
including full or cut waffle ingot and notch bar ingot. Magnesium
Neodymium (Mg-Nd) Master Alloy master alloys are also available in
the shot, screened and sized to specification, and in bagged shot.

3.Directions for use
According to the customer request to add master alloy. Removing
Packaging shrink film first and preheat to 200 ℃. After adding all
alloy, raise temperature to 820℃±50℃ and stirring.
Note: Please choose earth special flux as refining flux .

SEAWORTHY PACKING, VACUUM PACKING, PLASTIC FILM PACKED AND PUT INTO
IRON DRUM WITH VACUUM. ALSO AS CLIENTS' REQUIREMENT.
