The following information shall be provided on product or packaging or container: a. Country of origin b. Characteristics / distinguishing features of product c. Selling price including all taxes d. Unit price (Note: It shall be included only when the product is sold in an open state. If the unit price is the same as the selling price, the unit price needs not to be specified.) Manner of labeling: 1. The labeling information shall be easily visible and readable on the product, packaging or container. If not possible, a tag covering the same information shall be attached to an appropriate place. 2. The country of origin shall be written in Turkish. 3. It is not mandatory to have a label on the product or packaging if the prices of the products have been printed on printed products, e.g. books, magazines and newspapers; or products are sold according to specific laws. 4. Labels shall be sewed, stapled, glued or attached on products, groups of products or on the shelves of products of the same quality, depending on the nature of products and the place where they are offered for sale. 5. The letters and numbers on the label shall be legible, neat, complete, reasonable, in adequate size, not be confused with other figures, words and signs, and do not deliver misleading and deceptive information. 6. The selling price and unit price shall be written in the form of Türk Liras (Meaning; Turkish Lira), TL, or the symbol below 7. If a product is sold in different units of quantity, number, size and so on, each applied price shall be shown separately on the labels.
