Helium Leak Detector
The helium leak detector typically uses a turbo-molecular pump to
create a vacuum in the system being tested. A spray of helium is
introduced into the system and allowed to circulate for a short
period of time. Any helium that escapes through a leak is drawn
into the mass spectrometer and detected.
