Corundum crucible is strong and resistant to melting, high
temperature, acid and alkali, rapid cooling and extreme heat, and
chemical corrosion. It is suitable for some weakly alkaline
substances such as anhydrous Na2CO3 as a flux to melt samples, but it is not suitable for Na2O2, NaOH, etc. Strongly alkaline substances and acidic substances are
used as fluxes to melt samples.The alumina crucible with a purity
of 99.70% has good high-temperature insulation and mechanical
strength in a redox atmosphere of 1650℃-1700℃, and the maximum
temperature can reach 1800 in a short time ℃. Alumina crucibles are
available in a variety of sizes and shapes depending on the
application conditions.

Precautions for using crucibles
(1) It can be heated directly. It cannot be cooled suddenly after
heating. Use a crucible support crane.
(2) Heat the crucible on an iron tripod.
(3) Stir when steaming; use residual heat to steam dry when nearly
steaming.
