The tapered button drill bit is mainly used in conjunction with a
pneumatic rock drill and a tapered drill pipe to perform drilling
operations through the taper connection on the drill bit and drill
pipe. Cone drill bits are suitable for hard rock drilling and are
mainly used in secondary crushing, anchoring, drifting and other
fields in mines. The taper drill bit is an upgraded product of the
chisel drill bit and cross drill bit. Due to the use of tungsten
carbide bit and hot-dip skirt, the drill bit has good effect and
long service life. Conventional taper angles for tapered drill bits
are 7°, 11° and 12°.
