2. The double layer CTP plate consists of two distinct layers. The first layer is a thin coating of photosensitive photopolymer material that reacts to ultraviolet (UV) light. 3. To produce a double layer CTP plate, it is exposed to UV light through a digital imaging system. This exposure selectively hardens the photopolymer material in areas corresponding to the image, while the unexposed regions remain soft and soluble.
