Product Description
A VFD module, refers to a Vacuum Fluorescent Display module. It is
a self-contained display unit that incorporates a VFD, control
circuitry, and often additional components for interfacing with
other devices.
These modules typically consist of a glass tube or panel containing
a series of phosphor-coated cathodes and anodes. When a voltage is
applied between the cathodes and anodes, the gas within the VFD
module ionizes, causing the phosphors to emit light. The control
circuitry allows for controlling which segments or characters are
illuminated, enabling the display of alphanumeric characters,
symbols, or graphics.
