3500/90 is a Communication Gateway Module developed by Bently
Nevada.
It is a part of 3500 Bently Nevada Series. The System from GE
provides
continuous, online monitoring that is appropriate for machinery
protection
and asset condition monitoring applications. It is flexible system
in a
traditional rack-based design, with numerous features and benefits
not found
in other systems.
The Communication Gateway module communicates all rack monitored
values
and statuses for integration with process control and other
automation systems
via Ethernet TCP/IP and serial (RS232/RS422/RS485) communications.
It can
also communicate over Ethernet with Rack Configuration Software and
Data
Acquisition Software. Protocols supported include:Modicon Modbus
protocol
(via serial communications)Modbus/TCP protocol (a serial Modbus
variant used
for TCP/IP Ethernet communications)Bently Nevada protocol
(proprietary) (for
