product has excellent performance.
2. Alloy Melting: The selected nickel and copper raw materials are mixed in specific
proportions and melted at high temperatures to produce Monel 400
alloy. During the melting process, temperature and composition must
be strictly controlled to ensure the quality and stability of the
alloy.
3. Billet Preparation: The melted Monel 400 alloy is cast into appropriate-sized billets,
typically round or square in shape.
4. Billet Heat Treatment: The billets undergo heat treatment to relieve internal stresses
and improve the material's mechanical properties. This step is
crucial to ensuring the quality of the final wire.
5. Drawing Process: The heat-treated billets are fed into drawing machines, where they
are gradually reduced in diameter through continuous drawing to
produce Monel 400 wire of the desired diameter and gauge.
6. Surface Treatment: The Monel 400 wire, after drawing, undergoes surface treatments
such as pickling, polishing, etc., to improve surface quality and
smoothness.
7. Testing and Packaging: The produced Monel 400 wire undergoes rigorous quality testing to
ensure it meets customer requirements and standards. It is then
packaged and labeled for shipment to customers.
