Aldehyde Ketone Resin Characteristics:

Aldehyde ketone resin (also known as polykeone resin, keto aldehyde resin) is a kind of high brightness, light resistance of neutral, non-saponified cyclohexanone formaldehyde resin. The resin forms a saturated ring structure in the condensation period, which makes it have high gloss, hardness, resistance to degradation and weather resistance. Because this resin does not contain ester bond in the structure, it has good water resistance, and the main bond contains a lot of cyclohexyl, which makes it has heat resistance. In addition, the polarity of ketone groups and hydroxyl groups makes it have a wide range of solubility compatibility, as well as good pig ment wettability and adhesion. Therefore,it can be compatible with compounds with larger polarity, but also compatible with compounds with smaller polarity, suitable for most ink, paint and adhesive system.
