Difference between FM-200 and Novec 1230

The FM-200 and Novec 1230 systems are both gas fire suppression systems, but there are some differences in their composition, working principle and purpose.

Composition: FM-200 is a gas extinguishing agent with fluorohydrocarbons as the main component, while Novec 1230 is a gas extinguishing agent with fluorohydrocarbons and a small amount of hydrogen as the main component.
Working principle: FM-200 and Novec 1230 systems work similarly, both by releasing a large amount of gas extinguishing agent, forming inert gas around the fire source, isolating oxygen or chemical suppression to achieve fire extinguishing effect.
Application: FM-200 and Novec 1230 systems can be used in electronic equipment, electrical equipment, precision instruments and other places, such as electronic computer room, communication room, data center and so on.
