NVIDIA Network MFA1A00-E005 is an active optical cable based on QSFP28 VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser), designed
for use in InfiniBand 100Gb/s EDR systems. 100G EDR AOCs are the most popular interconnects in high-speed InfiniBand
high-performance computing (HPC) environments because they provide predictable latency, very low power (2.2W), and can increase
airflow and tighter power compared to DAC cables. Curved diameter and longer coverage. Since AOC is a thermal plug-in, it is easy
to install and replace.

MFA1A00-Exxx has a standard SFF-8665 qualified QSFP28 port, which faces the electrical port of the host system. It contains four
multi-mode fiber (MMF) optical transceivers, each with a data rate of up to 26Gb/s.

MFA1A00-Exxx provides optional readjustment per lane for its 25-26Gbp/s optical transmitters and receivers, but AOC also supports
lowering the bit rate without readjustment. The transmitter has a programmable input equalizer and input squeeze function, and the
receiver has a programmable output amplitude and pre-stress function.
