Steel rebar is a ribbed steel bar on the surface,also known as
ribbed steel bar,usually with two longitudinal ribs and transverse
ribs evenly distributed along the length.The shape of the
transverse ribs is spiral,herringbone, and crescent.It is expressed
in millimeters of the nominal diameter.

steel bars have greater bonding capacity with concrete due to the
action of ribs,so they can better withstand external forces.Ribbed
steel bars are widely used in various building
structures,especially large,heavy,light thin-walled and high-rise
building structures.

Usage:
Steel rebar is widely used in civil engineering construction such
as houses,bridges and roads.As large as public facilities such as
highways, railways, bridges, culverts, tunnels, flood control,
dams, etc., as small as foundations, beams, columns, walls, and
panels of house construction, rebar is an indispensable structural
material.
Advantage:
Concrete has a very high compression strength,but relatively low
tensile and torsional strength.While helping to prevent the
formation and spread of cracks that could destroy the whole
project.In addition,steel is the best material for rebar use
because of its similar thermal expansion properties to
concrete,avoiding many issues relating to temperature change.
