BRIDGE END

The ”end“ of the highway guardrail is found at the end of the road guardrail or at the
joint section, which is composed of an "end“, this is because the road conditions differ and therefor the road guardrail end is divided into a variety of styles to accommodate different types of roads. Depending on the guardrail design, the guardrail end is generally divided into the following types:
1. Fishtail End,
2. Buffer End,
3. Round End(bullnose end),
4. Ground anchor end,
5. Bridge End,
6. Extruded guardrail end, etc.
The Highway Guardrail Terminal End fixes both sides of the guardrail in order to prevent damage to pedestrians and vehicles. There is normally two pieces needed for every 1000 meters.
