White Tabular Alumina comes in granular and powder sizes and is
essentially pure alumina High density, low porosity, high
mechanical strength, high hardness, chemical inertia, impact
resistance and wear resistance. Can be used as refractory material.

Application
White Tabular Alumina can be widely used in steel, casting,
ceramics and other industries, and its application in the steel
industry covers almost the entire process of iron making and
steelmaking.
For 40 years, tabulated corundum has been widely used as high
performance refractory material for steel, casting, petrochemical
and ceramics. Tabular corundum is the leading synthetic high purity
alumina aggregate because of its high refractoriness, excellent
thermal shock resistance, creep resistance and wear resistance.
Although the overall consumption of refractories has declined
sharply, especially for steel applications, the use of tabular
corundum has increased not only in relative terms, but in absolute
terms. The introduction of continuous casting the steady increase
in the proportion of amorphous refractories and the violent trend
of high quality steel are the driving forces for the development of
tabular corundum refractories.
