Application

1kv AL/XLPE/PVC power cable low voltage power cable 3+2 core BS8573 are generally used for fi xed installation. Suitable for building wiring, especially in areas where smoke and fume emissions may cause a potential threat to life but not for burial in the ground, either directly or in ducts.

Operating characteristics

1.Cable laying temperature: ≥0°C

2.Cable conductor long-term allowable working temperature:≤90°C

3.Higest working temperature of cable in case of short circuit (the longest lasting time is not over 5s): 250°C

4.Minimum allowable bending radius: Single core cable: 20D mm; multi-core cable: 15D mm Note: D is actual outer diameter of the cable

Conductor: aluminum copper, strand according to BS EN 60228 class one or class 2.

Insulation: XLPE type GP8 according to BS 7655-1.3. HEPR type GP6 according to BS 7655-1.2, or crosslinked polyolefi n material type EI 5 according to BS EN 50363-5 can be offered as option.

Inner Covering option: The laid up cores may be coverd by an optional extrued inner covering or separating tape. It shall be possible to separate the cores easily.

Outer Sheath: Thermoplastic LSZH type LTS 4 according to BS 7655-6.1.

Outer Sheath option: UV resistance, hydrocarbon resistance, oil resistance, anti rodent and anti termite properties can be offered as option.

2. How long can I expect to get the sample?
After you pay the freight charge and send us confirmed files, the samples will be ready for delivery in 3-7 days. The samples will be sent to you via express and arrive in 3~7 days. You can use your own express account or prepay us if you do not have an account.
3. What are your payment terms?
We normally accept T/T 30% deposit, 70% balance before delivery as the main payment terms, and other payment can also be negotiated. Trade assurance on is also available.
