Product Details
The AB 1756-IT6I is a ControlLogix analog input module. This input
module is exclusively used for Thermocouple and millivolt input for
Temperature measurements. This module supports installation to any
ControlLogix chassis whether local or remote I/O rack. It is
compatible for use with any CotnrolLogix processor and
communication modules.
This module is compatible for use with Thermocouple type B, E, J,
K, R, S, T, N, C, D, L (TXK/XK). The valid input range for this
module is -12 to 78 mV and -12 to30 mV for high resolution range.
The module’s resolution is 16 bits with 1.4 ?V/bit (typical) for
-12…78 mV and 0.7 ?V/bit High Resolution range for -12…30 mV.
Additionally, for -12…30 mV, the Low signal and user counts are
15.80323 mV and -32768 counts while High signal and User counts are
31.396 mV and 32767 counts. For -12…78 mV, Low Signal and User
counts are -15.15836 mV and -32768 counts while High signal and
user counts are 79.241 mV and 32767 counts.
The module scan time is relatively fast and varies depending on the
data format and signal type. For millivolt input, scan time is 25
ms min floating point while 10 ms min for integer. For Floating
point format, scan time is 50 ms min.
Compatible data format is Integer mode, left justified, 2s
complement and IEEE 32-bit floating point. Appropriate module
keying is configured through hardware or software. Detailed
parameters for this module are configured using RSLogix 5000 or
Studio 500 Logix Designer which is the rebranded version of the
RSLogix.
