temperature. It is a combination of Muscovite (also known as
Phlogopite) and high temperature resistant silicone resin, being
made of around 90 % of the former and 10 % of the latter.
Mica sheets are considered as a great tool of protection for
lithium-ion battery cells, as they have two species with differing
characteristics. Muscovite Flexible Mica Plate, sporting a silver
color, has a constant operation heat resistance of 500 ℃ / 932 °F
and an intermittent operation one of 750 ˚C / 1382 ˚F. On the other
hand, Phlogopite Flexible Mica Plate, presenting a golden/amber
color, scores a 750 ˚C / 1382 ˚F constant operation heat resistance
and a 1000 ˚C / 1832 ˚F intermittent one.
