The E-link LNK-FS800M is a nine port all-optic fiber switch
featuring 100M of managed speed. It has eight SFP fiber ports
access and one Gigabit Combo port (1000M SFP port and 10/100/1000M
adaptive RJ45 Ethernet interchange) as the uplink.
The switch enables hot plugging of SFP modules, and is able to work
alongside a variety of fiber switches, converters and other devices
featuring fiber ports. With its web-based management system, the
LNK-FS800M is an ideal choice for any security, electric and
traffic system requirements.
Features:
This IT equipment is designed for easy and cost-efficient cable
management. It supports a maximum of 8 SFP fiber ports and a single
GE Combo port, the two of which are interchangeable. All of the
optic ports have improved anti-interference capabilities. As each
of the ports is full rate and full-duplex, it provides non-blocking
forward capabilities. Moreover, this device has an 8K MAC learning
capacity, 1Mbit storage, 4.6G back plane bandwidth and forward
cache space. This device can thus be used as a substitute for fiber
converters, reducing server faults and simplifying the network
structure.
Additionally, the SFP ports are designed to be hot pluggable. This
means that new components can be added even when the system is
running. By doing so, there is no need to shut down the system for
adding new components.
