SII certification is the abbreviation of the Israel Standards Institute, and its full name is: The standards lnstitution of lsrael. All electronic and electrical products exported to Israel must obtain SII certification. Because Israel is also a member of IECEE-CB, they recognize and can accept its IECEE- CB test report issued by CB member states. SII certification requires a factory inspection, which is roughly the same as China's CCC certification.

What materials do I need to prepare for SII certification?
If a manufacturer of electrical products wants to obtain approval to bear the mark on an electrical appliance produced by his factory, he must submit a formal application that includes at least the following content:
A. A brief description of the manufacturing plant’s organizational structure (branch diagram of the organizational structure);
B. Description of the specifications and standards on which the product is manufactured;
C. Description of production equipment;
D. Description of inspection equipment;
E. If necessary, measurement calibration procedures and equipment instructions;
F. A description of the quality control measures and quality control specifications adopted to oversee consistent manufacturing;
G. If not all the products are manufactured in the applicant's factory, the manufacturing stages in the manufacturer's factory and by other manufacturing factories should be separately described;
H. A list of test items that can be conducted in the applicant's laboratory and a list of equipment available for these tests.
