LNK-INS301-5V series is an industrial grade, Gigabit Ethernet, Power over Ethernet (PoE) Splitter designed to provide both data and electrical power to non-PoE
devices conveniently. This device can save the high cost of running
separate electrical service to edge devices.
Connection is made through RJ-45 Ethernet connector and screw terminal block. It acts as ‘PD equipment’, so it could be powered from standard
PoE IEEE802.3af/at Power Source Equipment (PSE) switches, or work
with LNK-INJ301 PoE Injectors. Data transmission speed of up to
Gigabit is allowed with power output voltages of 5VDC and a
transmission range of up to 100 meters.
No tools or software setup is required for the installation of
LNK-INS301-5V due to its simple setting, making it a true ‘plug and
play’ device. Its user-friendly design and features, such as
flexible installation and high reliability, are highly appreciated.
Features:
This device is a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) splitter which allows the data and power from a single PoE input port to be
shared among two different ports. The splitter has one RJ-45 PoE
port which takes both data and power input, one RJ-45 Port to
provide data output, and one 5VDC Output port via a 2-pin terminal
block.
The splitter is compatible with IEEE802.3af/at PoE standards, and
supports network speed of 10/100/1000Base-T with a transmission
distance of up to 100 meters. Moreover, the short-circuit
protection feature provides added safety by preventing power output
from reaching dangerous levels. The rugged metal housing is
designed to protect the splitter from harsh environmental elements
with an IP40 rating, and no fan is needed for the device to
function. Finally, extensive LED indicators are provided to allow
for easier PoE diagnostics. The splitter is also designed to be
conveniently mounted using either DIN-Rail or Wall mount.
