wheel is turned.Power steering pumps are typically driven by an
electric motor or the vehicle's engine. Inside the pump, there is a
rotor that, when driven, draws fluid into the pump and pressurizes
it, delivering it to the hydraulic cylinder of the steering system.
This increases the pressure in the steering system, making steering
easier.
