Product brief introduction for IP Testing Equipment:
This is a handheld test unit designed for testing IPX3/IPX4 water
resistance levels. It simulates drenching and splashing
environments to help you evaluate the water resistance of your
equipment. This device is easy to operate and carry, making it
ideal for laboratory and field testing.
Conditions when using the spray nozzle for IP Testing Equipment:
Test for second characteristic numeral 3 with spray nozzle
The counterbalanced shield is in place for this test.
The water pressure is adjusted to give the specified delivery rate.
The pressure to achieve this delivery rate will be in the range of
50 kPa to 1 50 kPa. It should be kept constant during the test.
The test duration is 1 min/m 2 of the calculated surface area of
the enclosure (excluding any mounting surface), with a minimum
duration of 5 min.
Test for second characteristic numeral 4 with spray nozzle
The counterbalanced shield is removed from the spray nozzle and the
enclosure is sprayed from all practicable directions.
The test duration is 1 min/m 2 of the calculated surface area of
the enclosure (excluding any mounting surface), with a minimum
duration of 5 min.
Standard for IP Testing Equipment:
IEC60529 degree of protection provided by enclosures (IP Code) of
the IPX3 and IPX4
Feature:
Used for carrying out the IPX/4 water ingress protection test on
specimens which can’t be thoroughly wet using the swivel tube.
The spray nozzle is made of brass and 304 stainless steel.
Full manual control enables you to wet every part of the enclosure
under test.
The nozzle contains 121 holes with a diameter of 0.5 mm.
The required pressure is from 50 kPa to 150 kPa.
Comes with a pressure gauge and ball valve, and an electronic
flowmeter is allowed to be added if required.
The shield shall be in place for the IPX3 test and be removed from
the spherical area for the IPX4 test.
