The 9905-068 2301A series control designed by Woodward INC is a low-voltage model sold, repaired, and refurbished by AX Control Inc. Low voltage models such as this one typically have an external power supply rating of 20-40 Vdc and have a power consumption of < 15 W nominal.

When operating your control and engine you should check the phase of the current transformer on the control; to do so measure the load signal from the negative eleventh terminal and the positive thirteenth terminal, when checking the phase be sure that your prime mover is not running and is in isochronous mode rather than parallel, charge the generator to as near as full as possible and measure the voltage of the load signal. If while assessing the phase of your control something seems to not be functioning properly phase correction should take place, try all of the current transformers (there are three) and record the voltage and polarity for the first transformer and then just the voltage on the second and third to complete this action.

During the operation of the control and engine be sure that everything is functioning properly at all times if during operation an error in which the engine does not equalize for the rated no-load speed check the operation of the control, the control could malfunction during operation and can be reminded by adjusting the actuator compensation, gain and reset potentiometers.
